On the way to reaching your goals

How does the Advisory Service work? It’s simple – one basic user fee of $1500 gives you follow-up from an expert advisor:

The first meeting

During the first meeting, which usually lasts about two hours, the breeder acquaints the advisor with both the farm and the herd. The breeder will also mention if he or she already has some specific objectives in mind. At that time, a complete report on the herd has not yet been prepared, because it’s important that the advisor not have any preconceived ideas about the herd. The advisor’s main role is to listen to the breeder.

The detailed analysis

Following that first meeting, the advisor will study all the graphs and figures for the herd and prepare a detailed herd report. The advisor will also identify the best cows in the herd as well as the maternal lines that are likely to be selected to achieve the breeder’s objectives. The final report is then delivered to the breeder, who can study the proposed plan to determine if it meets his or her requirements.

The 2nd meeting

At this meeting, the breeder and advisor discuss the various points contained in the report. The advisor will then see to setting up the action plan outlined in the report. If some improvements need to be made, the advisor will make the necessary changes so as to implement a plan that corresponds to the breeder’s requirements.

The follow-up

Following the second meeting, the advisor will provide follow-up support to the breeder. In addition to the two meetings and the preparation of the detailed analysis, an average of 6 to 8 hours will be required to reach the objectives defined in the report. A total of approximately 12 hours is planned for each case. The remaining hours in the package can be used to follow up on marketing, develop purchasing strategies, attend sales with the breeder, consult with other service providers, etc.
