Canada Health Accredited Herd Program (CHAH)

The Canada Health Accredited Herd Program for bovine leukosis (CHAH-BL) is a program thaht certified BL-freedom in qualifying herds. This program meets international health standards and is delivered by private CFIA-accredited veterinarians and laboratories. The CHAH-BL program is based on test results, the removal of cattle infected with the BLV, and the maintenance of a herd which permits the entry of only those animals free of infection.
