Holstein Québec announces the appointment of a new general manager
The board of directors of Holstein Québec is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Marcheterre to the position of general manager.
Originally from a Holstein dairy farm in the Gaspé Peninsula, Mr. Marcheterre first studied agriculture at the CEGEP in Matane. He continued his education at Laval University, where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, he augmented his training with a number of other titles including a CMA and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which he obtained in 2004.
Known for his professionalism and his focus on client services, Mr. Marcheterre is a veteran administrator with more than 20 years of experience. He has held various managerial positions in cooperative farming circles, with business enterprises, and with Agri-Traçabilité Québec (ATQ).
We are confident that Mr. Marcheterre will be able to use his expertise and his knowledge of the agricultural community to the benefit of the Association’s membership, its clientele and its partners in dealing with the challenges facing Holstein Québec in the coming years.
