Holstein Québec awards a perpetual trophy to the breeder whose herd has obtained the highest composite BCA.

All publishable herds belonging to a Holstein Québec member qualify for this trophy. The compilation period is from January 1 to December 31, 2005 (Holstein Canada).

N.B. The requirements for a publishable herd are:

• a minimum of 15 publishable records;
• a minimum of 40% of lactations completed/publishable;
• if the herd is enrolled in the 24-h option, a minimum of 8 tests per year; if the herd is enrolled in the pre-scheduled option, a minimum of 10 tests, 5 of which must be supervised.
