The Saint-Hyacinthe Holstein Club invites you to join us on July 13th at Gilles Lapointe and Sons Farm (ANTIA) in Upton, Montérégie, owned by Christiane Lévesque, Yannick, and Francis Lapointe.
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, dairy producers, partners, industry stakeholders, and the entire community are invited to participate in the various activities and admire the quality of the ANTIA herd.
For some time now, several committees have been formed, working diligently to ensure that this event is a success and a memorable experience for visitors. Please note that access to the site is free.
Schedule for the day:
10:00 | Site opens |
12:30 PM | Presentation of the family and the herd Presentation of dignitaries |
1:30 PM | Maclead Contest – an expertise competition in which a judge will explain what they look for and how they determine which cow is the most beautiful |
2:30 PM | Gladu Contest – a presentation competition where young people under 25 are invited to lead a heifer and showcase her |
3:45 PM | Passing of the basket to the host of the 2025 Holstein Québec Picnic |
4:00 PM | Olympiad |
5:00 PM | Start of the extended 5 to 7 where people can chat with various dairy producers from the Saint-Hyacinthe Holstein Club while enjoying cocktails and appetizers accompanied by live music. |
10:00 PM | Fireworks |
In addition to the scheduled activities, several other activities will be available on-site, such as tours of Gilles Lapointe et fils Farm and the discovery of Quebec companies and products through numerous booths. Finally, a children’s world will be created to entertain the youngest visitors (games, face painting, coloring, etc.). Many other activities will be added for the enjoyment of all visitors.
